Slumber parties are such fun,
With elf friends ’til the night is done.
Bring your blankets, pillows too,
For a magical night, just us two.

Let’s stay up late, by the moonlight,
Reading tales that send shivers left and right.
The elves aren’t scared, that’s what they claim,
As they giggle and joke in this nighttime game.

But wait, in the shadows, a specter does appear,
A friendly ghost, with no need for fear.
It joins our party with a mischievous grin,
In this eerie tale, let the spooks begin!

As a cherished childhood favorite, this book holds a special place in my heart. Now, as a parent, I have the joy of sharing “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” with my two beloved children. Our family tradition includes reading this series together before bedtime, fostering a sense of togetherness and excitement.

Recently, we decided to extend this tradition to our enchanting elves. I took great pleasure in crafting an elf-sized version of the book, allowing our elves to join in the nighttime adventures and further enriching the magic of the holiday season.
